I am sure some of these points have been posted elsewhere, but I just started looking at the board this morning and have not read through all the treads.

What frustrates me most about our offense is not so much the play calling but rather the lack of fluidity or lack of urgency in anything. Four specific areas that are really frustrating to me:

1-Play calls come in too late
2-Offense spends too much time in huddle and are too slow getting to the line and getting set
3-Lack of rhythm with the QBs. The use or mis-use of Gray has been posted a lot here, but there are some instances of Weber seeming to find a rhythm or have a nice run of plays and then getting pulled.
4-No (or very little) use of the RBs as outlets. Bennett seems to be a decent receiver. Hoese has made a few decent catch-and-runs. Perhaps Whaley and Eskridge can, too. It seems that we have not used our RBs as a safety outlet, and did not with Dunbar either.

There was one instance yesterday I noticed where we broke the huddle with about 16-17 seconds on the play clock, wandered up to the line, stood at the line for a few seconds, and eventually had to call a timeout as the play clock was about out. This should be plenty of time to line up and run a play without having to rush. At other times, particularly on the fourth down where Hoese was stopped, the play came in so late that we had no chance.

It may be a sign of Fisch's inexperience as a play caller, in which case I have confidence that it can be corrected moving forward. I guess it basically comes down to execution, both by the coaches and players.
