Forecasts have been bouncing around for a day or so. Gopher Weather Guy may have more info. Need to dress for the cold, but not for precipitation. Right now it looks like could be:

36 to 33 degrees, partially cloudy, 20-10 MPH winds and no rain or snow. Now that doesn't sound that bad does it?

Was planning on coming down Friday for the basketball game...driving through central MN should be a joy.

At 30s and 20-10 MPH winds.... gonna need winter gear no matter what.

Taking the trash out I'll do that in shorts in any weather.

Sitting at a full game, gonna gear up.

Layers! You never know when the sun is going to come out.

I remember the South Dakota State game ages ago.

At one point a very small spot of sun came out and shined on part of the stands. As it moved over each section slowly the crowd cheered.

That was also one of the few things to cheer that day....

Always 95 and sunny on the North side!

Any rain/snow will be gone even before tailgating time. Sunny and 35 at kickoff. Winds will be strong to start, but decrease throughout the game. By the 4th quarter, winds should be light and not a factor.

With this storm moving faster, the weather does not look as bad as it did a couple of days ago.

Did you release your winter forecast yet?

It's really the wind that can be a killer. Temp in the 30's isn't bad at all......especially for a November game. Hopefully the sun will be out. The best thing about a 2:30 kickoff is the possibility of some sunshine on the home team side. Like others have mentioned......gear up. Wear layers. You can always remove layers if needed. I've made the mistake of under dressing on multiple occasions. It's not plesent. The Wisconsin game from a few years back when the temps were in the single digits was not a good experience.

Likely to have some remnant ice in the seats and aisles.

We bring some ice-melt and have had some success clearing out where we stand. Still slushy but not ice.

May try a handful of sand this time too.

Where do you sit?

I always found they do a good job of clearing the isles and etc of snow / ice at TCF.

Vikings should have installed heating coils in the stands!

We're in the visitors side, upper deck in 212.

It's only occurred a couple of times...once for an Iowa game I remember for sure. Usually the precipitation was the day before and there wasn't an opportunity for it to melt.

Not saying it's a skating rink and concur the snow removal is great. We've just had ice patches to deal with and the ice-melt helped.

Sand? you're gonna make a mess!

Dress warm, but looks like no rain or snow to deal with. Can't speak to the "remnant ice in the seats and aisles" upstairs, but got blue skies and blowing winds in the Northern Suburbs.

- "Partly sunny, with a high near 30. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph."

- 31 degrees with winds from 18 down to 9mph by 6:00.

- 32 degrees, partly cloudy with winds from the NW from 12 down to 6mph by 6:00.

I know the Ohio State game was the coldest, but the Wisconsin game a few years back was just brutal. I will take this forecast anyday
