Coach Kill has been getting ripped for some "intemperate" remarks. People should lighten-up a little about that IMHO. Take away the first 3-4 games of his tenure and he and his staff have been stand-up guys after defeats every defeat since. His next new conference(s) will show that.

Now Nick Saban? That's been a whole 'nother deal. He's famous, infamous really, for blasting his players and even his staff after a loss. Very rarely, if ever does he take responsibility for a defeat. "I don't know what happened. We certainly had them prepared."

So take a look at the post game press conference last night. Now it was posted at 1:03am, but still, pretty remarkable.

And commendable too.

I give more credit to Meyer for the win than I do Saban for the loss.

Except for hard core Alabama fans would guess that everybody does. The fact that Saban took responsibility was almost as surprising as the result itself.
