Didn’t want to overtake the Vikings thread with non Vikings talk.

Philly gets lucky when they ‘catch’ a ball on 4th down but really was incomplete. SF doesn’t challenge because they didn’t have any good angle from Fox. However the NFL is now allowing the replay official to correct these calls. But didn’t for some reason. Resulted in a TD a play latter.

Also, the NFL continues to let tackles move early. Philly’s RT is moving early on just about every play.

Well this game is a huge downer already.

Niners definitely got hosed on that.

For the first time in probably ever....I am looking forward to the Pro Bowl.

Philly doesn’t have to apologize for it or anything but they got a very easy route to the Super Bowl. Giants and then a 4th string QB.

I wanted to see Hurts have to perform under pressure.

He threw for 154 yards last week, and 122 yards this week where the 35 yarder or whatever it was should have been overturned.

He won in a blowout in both. QB does matter, but damn, it's still a team game. Nick Mullens would have won those two games under center in blowouts.

Josh Johnson has been on 13 different NFL teams in his 15 year career - an NFL record

This was Johnson's 4th stint with the 49ers but first year he actually got to throw a pass.

I find it crazy that most NFL teams don't suit up 3 QBs per game. Maybe they feel there aren't enough to go around. If it gets to that point they are sunk anyway, so instead use the roster spot on another lineman or defensive back.

Everyone knew back last summer that Philly essentially had the best roster, top to bottom, in the NFL this year. 4 guys with 10+ sacks, that offensive line, they were/are absolutely stacked at most positions.

And, as Michael Lombardi often referred to it, a Gonzaga-type regular season schedule. But they have a very, very deep roster, no doubt about it.

Imagine if it was Cousins that had those numbers in the playoffs. The national media would have been relentless.

I had the Under in both games today! Come on!!!! Someone end this with a FG!!!

Mahomes could take off on a dead sprint. Imagine that.

Media is excited. The Andy reid bowl. The kelce brother bowl. Terrible way to lose a game. Wish they would have swalloed whistle there

The last call was probably legit, but the Bengals got screwed about 5 other times.

Maybe the NFL should follow the NHL’s lead, where the arena provides the 3rd goalie option for both teams.

don't really care for either team, but in watching the post game, I'm cheering for the Eagles.

Damn, the Bengals were in the Chiefs heads.

I could argue that final flag either way. Personally think that it shouldn't have been called.....but can understand why it was. Guess my thought is that Ossai didn't do anything malicious there. You could hardly even consider it much of a push. Mahomes felt the contact and took a dive. Don't think the contact caused him to fall....and if he would have stayed upright....there's almost no chance that a flag is thrown as the contact itself was pretty innocuous. Mahomes sold it. Fact is that Ossai put his hand on Mahomes and pushed off very slightly. Got to be much much smarter in that situation. He was going out of bounds regardless. Got to pull off earlier and Ossai didn't. Brutal way to lose a championship game.

Eagles are stacked! Remember Hurts is a big who can avoid sacks and run. Cousins cannot run so he has to throw for a lot to make up for it. Every QB in the divisional round was an athlete who could run. To have a QB who can run is maybe no longer a bonus but a necessity unless you can read defenses as quick as Brady once could. Hurts really hasn't had to carry the Eagoes all year he is not my MVP canidate.

I think that it gets flagged more 90% of the time. When it's a QB, more like 99%. Not that I like it, but just the way it is in today's game.
