per the News Press:

The University of Minnesota and Jerry Kill made one of the best comebacks of the college football season.

And two local players — linebacker De’Vondre Campbell and safety Derrick Wells — helped in the rally.

They hope to have a fitting finale Friday when the Gophers (8-4) will play Syracuse (6-6) in the Texas Bowl in Houston.

“It’s been unbelievable, everything I expected it to be,” said Campbell, a Cypress Lake High graduate. “Coach Kill told me what it would be like.”

Go Gophers!!

It is always nice to get some positive press. Especially from a recruiting hot bed area. Way to go Jerry.

Awesome.

“Coach Kill came to Fort Myers and sat down with me and my family and told everyone what would happen. He told the truth. The others were used car salesmen. The others used to feed me fairy tales. It all seemed too good.”

To all current Gopher recruits....take note of the many positives of what Campbell and Wells say about Kill and the Gopher program which is steadily improving.
