From MV at FBT - Support him and give it a click, but here is the snippet that I noticed:

"Even more dire for Middle Tennessee State are allegations Coach Stockstill knew about the incident a month ago and let Dasher continue practicing. Allowing an ineligible player to participate in a game not only risks a potential forfeit, but also raises the specter of the dreaded “lack of institutional control,” among the most serious of NCAA CIC offenses."

From a preparation standpoint this is now very similar to last season with the whole Greg Paulus ordeal.

And if it is shown that Coach Stockstill, or a member of the coaching staff directed Dasher to contact Donnell and went on with practice its another step toward "lack of institutional control"
The idea that Dasher met Donnell while he was feeding squirrels at the VA is just to much to believe.

New to me

In addition: In a story elsewhere, the guy Dasher got the loan from was labeled as a bookie...if that is true, that can't be good for the situation.

Also, heard a report that Blitzen may be sidelined due to dehydration. Something about it being a drastic climate change returning from "home" over the summer. Somebody said it's hot at MTU?

NCAA suspensions are for games, not for practices. (That's out of Coach Stockstill's mouth along with observations of past CFB suspensions.)

Once the university found out about the situation they began an investigation and notified the NCAA, MTSU, etc. and now he's been suspended pre-NCAA ruling. Hardly a lack of institutional control.

Rationalize away, that's what fans do...
