Not sure how much real data you can squeeze out of these year to year team to team like stats like this for all of two years.

I would like to see a comparison of SOS and maybe def ranking of teams played.

Our adjusted line yards are terrible, amongst the worst in the nation. Our running backs are superb and created their own yards on many, many occasions.

I have not seen the changes on the field that we needed, yet. However, bringing in Miller was an obvious change in culture, one that hopefully will start showing up on the field in the form of better O-Line play.

Those stats could just be a result of our ability to run a little better against the teams we played this year. I'd guess that if this year's team played last year's schedule our rush yards would decrease a bit, and our pass yards would increase some.

Replace TCU OSU and Michigan with psu Rutgers and Maryland and surprise surprise we run the ball better

Bart Miller's & Jay Johnson's offensive scheme will be much improved with a new QB who can throw and run - Green, Tamu, or whoever. Yes, there is blind hope as an eternal Gopher fan.

Playing the teams like PSU and Iowa close is not good enough in order to content for the B1G title. Wins against these two teams should have put the Gophers in the title game.

I am sure someone can find it somewhere but Smith's yards after contact has to be off the charts. Can't even count the number of times this year where he was dead behind the LOS and somehow managed to spin free or break tackles and make something out of nothing. Brooks was good at this as well but Smith was a master at it.

The line did a solid job in pass protection but their run blocking was not good and we are really fortunate to have the solid RBs that we do because without their escapability we would have been in a lot of trouble in the ground game this year.

Can't say that I saw any appreciable difference in our offensive line action. Still had lots of missed assignments, poor technique and just plain lack of drive- effort. Sad

We still lose tie breaker to Wisconsin with winning those two games.
We were 2-3 wins short of the division this year.
