I'm sure Studwell is banging his head against a wall somewhere....

They're not for me, but you know what, neither were Oregon's in 1999....and my initial reaction is that I'm not as appaled the first time I saw these as I was the first time I saw Oregon's in 1999. Perhaps I'm just de-sensitized to it all now?

I actually think minus the stripe, it's a pretty cool look. I like the black socks & shoes look & am glad the Gophers have gone back to it this year.
 

I actually love them. Props to UA for bringing back NU's stripes. Hell, they are called "Northwestern stripes" for cripes sake. Anyway, I'm honestly excited to see our and NU's new uniforms this fall.
 

Based on what AU has done in the past I think Northwestern got off easy. They're dumb, but it doesn't make them look like a bunch of clowns like Maryland's.

I think your Mitch Martin quote applies to these uniforms... I don't like the blindfold around the numbers.
 


Let's just say, our new uniforms > Northwestern's new uniforms.
 

move the stripe to the pants and these would be legit
 

I echo the sentiments of a few others. Remove the stripe in the middle and these would actually look pretty good.

They are ugly but still better than the alternate uniforms Nebraska released today that they will wear for one game against Wisconsin.

Actually I was serious.

I really like those unis with the big block M on the front.

I think a Minnesota version would be really cool.

It's a throwback that is actually before my time(yeah I know, hard to believe)

Just missing the ears. Adidas just makes crap and there are some classic uniforms that should never be altered.
 

I noticed that Northwestern actually has the new jerseys for sale already. What a novel marketing idea: reveal new jerseys and actually have them for sale! We revealed ours only 7 months ago and still can't buy one in adult sizes.

It is still ridiculous. The excitement of the new jerseys is almost always at it's peak when they are released. Why wouldn't you have some available at that time?

Ha.. I forgot you are a Husker fan. Deal with the change. It's about time Nebraska joins the rest of us in the 21st century. It's not like it's a permanent change.. it's for one game for cripes sake.

WTF is wrong with wearing jerseys? Sounds like you have some issues man. Deal with them in a more constructive way than ripping on others for wearing jerseys of their favorite team.
 



I am a fan of Northwestern's new jerseys. If it was up to me, I'd move the jersey stripe, but I can live with it.

I also like Michigan's alternate jersey.
 

If the jersey/pants/helmets don't represent the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers, I hate them, all of them.

Go Gophers!!!

For my nebraska friends....the N stands for knowledge...right? ;-)

Minnesota could have one like that Michigan one. Remember the Nagurski throwbacks from 2 years ago (?) . Big old style M on the chest. That would be cool to pull out vs Michigan.
