Who has the most marketable name in a new hire: Kill or Golden?
 


If Kill can't raise the bar, every other teams homecoming will have "Kill the Gophers" everywhere.
 

It's a toss up:

Kill:
Kill for the Axe
We've got a Coach to Kill for..
Kill: Not just a coach, but an attitude

Golden:
We've got 3G (Golden's Golden Gophers)
Gophers are now Golden
The Bank is now Golden

Combine the two and we have a winner. "Golden" and "Kill" think about the possibilities!

I'm working on that one, I need some help (here's a start):

We could all wear hockey masks, chanting "KILL! KILL! KILL!"

Then if anyone mentions Coach Kill you just say "What coach?"
 

would hoke (hokey) or Leach (Leech) have the opposite effect?
 



We could tell Calhoun that as an added incentive, if he comes here we will name a lake after him. "Lake Calhoun" kind of has a ring to it, doesn't it?

Stadiums have the "Kiss Cam", but I think having the "Kill Cam" might be a little much.
