Yeah, it is a good offer sheet. I didn't mean to minimize it by saying it was "decent".

I can't wait for the deluge of posters who have done nothing but bitch about Kill's recruiting. I'm sure they'll be flooding to this thread to give Kill his props.

He's not a 5 or 4*, he sucks, kill sucks, everything sucks.

Its all good man I enjoy reading your common sense posts...keep up the good work, I don't post much but I read everything on here but I ve been a bit gun shy lately cause I've been a big brewster guy. I'm pretty excited bout kills coaching skills

Tamani Carter is actually Ludacris minus the mustache.

ESPN shows that it is Carter to me a solid get for the Gophers.

He isn't even rated in the state of Ohio.

Beating out Stanford, Iowa, and Arizona isn't anything special.

Kill has to start topping Ohio St., Florida and USC on the regular before his recruiting does anything for me.

You're too easy to please dpodoll, there were some posters who thought that we should beat out NFL teams for a coach (49ers).

Dpodoll... i think you need to raise your expectations a little bit. Lol. We need help in our secondary and if you don't want a 3* that runs a 4.48 then so be it. By the way, who was the last coach that did anything for you in terms of recruiting? Because Brew and Mase certaintly never beat out OSU, Florida, or USC. I'm sure Carter will be great for us.

Go Gophers!

im pretty certain thats a little something called sarcasm. anyways... seems to be a good late pick-up for the gophers. Go Kill.

Welcome aboard Tamani. Does that fill the CB spot? Or are they still looking to add more?

Good question mkAz,

I still think we are open to adding another one. I only say this because I heard that Carter was pretty much a lock and I know we are still interested in EJ May (super fast 2 star CB), so i'd assume our interest in May hasn't changed, but I could be wrong. I'd, personally, like to see us add 1 more.

Is it just me or is this an upgrade from Oyenuga?

I suspect he is a little more of a solid cb, maybe scholastically as well. As soon as someone follows his twitter we should know more there;). I think they would still want to add a safety or two and hopefully a few more DLmen, esp. DTs and at least one kicker. Would not mind Sankley (sp) either. Enough OLmen and TEs. Given a few of the JUCOs are on last years scholarships, that should mean a few more players this year as well.

Yeah, I think most people would agree that is an upgrade from Oyenuga.

However, like I said in my last post, I kind of think we will look to add 1 more DB, probably EJ May. Then the question is, who would you have preferred Oyenuga or May?

A. You need to schedule a trip to the shop to get your sarcasm meter tuned up.

B. Actually, Brewster did beat out Florida and OSU (among several other BCS offers) for Hageman, and Florida for Carpenter. I'm on my phone, so I don't care to fully research it, but there were probably others as well. There were certainly many with several BCS offers.

Not that it matters, anyway. Plinnius will tell you that none of those offers were real.

Lets put it this way, Brewster got Gray who showed his commit on National tv.

Every party has a pooper that's why we invited you! ;)

When I see us out recruit a school like Stanford it is great. Carter is passing up a "helmet education" for MN. Size and speed to boot.
