New Chant for USC game

From the time the teams take the field, Gopher Nation MUST chant "FIRE TIM BREWSTER" FIRE TIM BREWSTER" "FIRE TIM BREWSTER" "FIRE TIM BREWSTER" .......better yet, boycot the game and greet them with an empty stdium...how's that for a statement?

That would be a fantastic idea with Brewster's best recruits visiting that weekend. Great idea.
 

I do believe that "fire brewster" would chant better than "fire tim brewster"
too many syllables in using his first name
 



How about if you just not show up and hope that everyone else does the same?

Brewster will be fired or not based on their record. Let's let them play. If they can't win some games, he will be gone. Looks likely right now.

Brewster may not be the answer but neither is this crap.
 

How about selling your tickets on StubHub? It seems all the cool kids are doing it.

Yea, your probably right. Let Brewster finish out with his 4 win season, and say that he should probably get one more year, because you think next year could be his year.
If you havn't figured out by now that this guy can't coach or recruit, then you are a lost cause....Even Mason was better than this and we fired him.

Have already seen the damage that this AD can do. Definitely when a Fire a coach chant's start up. Been there done that and even let the students know be careful what you ask for, do you really trust Joel Maturi to hire a football coach?
At least this next time he will not get to make the next hire, whether Brewster stay's or whether he goes, Maturi can no longer leave a stamp on the program with the next coach. Here we go again Chanting Fire Brewster does us no good, it will not matter what we say or do, all we can really do is buy our tickets and try to cheer on the Gophers, that is all we can really do even.

I did not say keep Brewster if he wins 4 (which by the way will be hard to do- where are the three wins?). I am just saying season is not over yet. If we are losing by thirty next week chant all you want.

Classless. I'm as frustrated as anyone, but this is stupid. Go cheer for another team.

How about you chant that from your barkalounger and leave it at that?
 


If we're talking about cheers then, the new 'rooter club' people need to shut up with the "we are...minnesota" cheer. its classless to steal other schools cheers, especially when the syllables dont even match. they sneered at the kid who called em out on it today and i think thats even worse because the kid was right.
 

One thing is for certain: the Gophers will be a huge disappointment this year -- meaning more tickets sold off to Iowa fans. Prepare to see a lot of black and gold at that game....

Clearly you didn't attend the game this weekend, or at least you didn't stick around for the end, because the students chanted 'Fire Brewster' repeatedly at the end of the USD game.

That said, do us supporters of the program a favor and stay home. Those kind of chants do nothing to promote the kind of supportive atmosphere the Gophers need at home, especially with recruits and USC coming into town.
 

This goes higher up than Brewster. Brewster needs to go, but only if he takes Maturi with him.
 


I didn't read any of these post, but the topic is wrong. If you want Brew fired e-mail Maturi. This wash does not need to be displayed on national tv. Show your support for the players.
