New B1G Ten Logo on TCF Field

I just don't see a "10" in B1G. The Big 10 logo that had an embedded 11, that was good.
 

I hate the logo. It really, really sucks.

The "B1G" nonsense is even worse. It almost makes me physically ill just typing it. I'd be embarrassed if that were my high school conference logo back home in small-town South Dakota, let alone the premier amateur sports conference on Earth. Someone should've told them that just because the conference members play amateur sports, it doesn't mean that the logo needs to be amateur.
 

I like it. It's not quite as visually clever as the negative space 11, but I think it's still a great logo. Getting Big Ten in 3 characters is a unique way of doing things and on a personal level I like using it shorthand style in posts. I was less pleased with the "full" logo and hate the division names but I am fully behind the B1G when it comes to the B1G logo. :)
 

I think it's a great logo, pretty modern (which is probably what people hate about it knowing cfb fans), and it incorporates the 10 in the "1G" because of the font, and it leaves the possibility of the "G" becoming a 6 if we go to a super conference in the future.

I agree...kind of. I wish they could use school colors for the logo. I like the way the SEC does their logos for each school (I just vomited saying I like the way the SEC does anything).
 

I like the logo, very clever and nice looking. The division names suck but the logo is great.

That would be cool. Maroon outline B and gold 1G.
 





Who the hell cares about a logo? Its fine.
 




It actually bugs me that the B1G doesn't give teams the options to fill in the logo with teams' colors (like the BTN allows).

As far as the logo itself, it's simple enough for me.. I like it better than the old one, so no complaints from this Gopher fan.

You are also posting this on a board that obsessed over slightly differing shades of maroon and whether or not the turf was dark green enough for several months. :D
