Decreed as 'terrible' by the GH-manics these teams somehow tricked people who actually write about college basketball for a living into thinking they're top 25 material. Hmm...who to believe?

Texas A&M # 18

Butler # 23

Portland #25

Gophers drop to #38. One thing I don't get is that Clemson stayed ranked and actually went up one spot from 19 to 18. Yet they beat Butler and lost to Texas A&M the same as Minnesota. The only difference is they beat LBSU and we los to Portland. IMO they had basically the same week-end we did, yet they went up one spot and we dropped 16. ACC bias?

Unfortunately you may be correct about Clemson. The ACC is a stronger conference than the Big 10.

Obviously...

Obviously the AP voters are not keeping abreast via the GH !!

Good for them.

Or they attended math class and realized a 2-1 record over the weekend was better than a 1-2.

But that win was against the a team that battled UCLA for worst team in the tournament, whereas we lost to the 2nd place team by 5 and the 3rd place team by 1.
