Never heard any announcement in addition to sirens

The PA system went bad it appeared. The guy didn't say anything after it started going off. I did catch on the subtitles that it said "false alarm" for a split second though. Let's be honest though, the people that were still there at that point weren't gonna leave for a little fire. Those were the diehards that were left standing haha.

Yeah, we heard them as well.. And even though there wasn't any announcement, I did notice the subtitles captions say that there is an emergency situation and that we were all to evacuate. I wasn't going to move, that's for sure. Mr. Powers hit it right on the head.. It's not every Saturday that we get to see a Gopher blowing out a B1G opponent.

The PA guy was on fire and running down Oak Street. Didn't anyone else see that?

It could be that there were announcements in the press box and suites but not over the PA system. We were wondering if for some reason the PA system is inoperable when the alarms are going.

We were in the hallway about to leave when the sirens went off. After the siren the announcement told us to leave the stadium immediately, using the stairways, no elevators. It repeated several times before we left. A little eerie at the time.

Sirens are triggered when the band outnumbers the student section by 2 to 1.

This whole situation was bizarre as there were no announcements apparent to those of us low in the lower level. I never saw anything on the video board either so if it was there I must have missed it. I think it begs for an explanation by the athletic dept.

The security/warning system needs an $800,000 upgrade to complete. So far they have not been able to raise the necessary funds.

On the radio they sirens were going in the background and the announcers kept making fun of them. I was gone most of the day at a birthday party, so I turned the game on just in time to hear Purdue score their last td. Wasn't sure what the hell the sirens were coming through the radio. Definately weird.

The fire trucks and response units were arriving as we were departing TCF.
