Some day at some point we will pay them back. Never forget this d!ck move by this d!ck.

If I was going to the game, I'd bring a sign that said, "HEY BIELEMA! THE GAME CARD SAYS TO GET BENT!"

I agree that it was stupid to go for 2 but I don't see how he was running up the score as many have said? That final drive for a touchdown was hardly in the mode of score quick so we can score again. Bielema ran the ball ... ran the ball ... ran the ball ... moved the chains. Usually when someone is intent on running up the score, they will try to score quick and score again. MN was defenseless at the point ... maybe Bielema is just too stupid to know how to do it but if you want to run up the score usually you pass the ball down the field to get that done. Usually people complaining about running up the score don't hang it all on the conversion -- usually they show a couple series where a coach aims to score and score again. Is one additional point really running up the score. Now maybe I underestimate how evil Bielema is but is there another time when someone cites -- going for 2 -- as running up the score. I do think he had a vendetta to crush/embarass Brewster. Bielema is probably too immature to know that Brewster was completely capable of doing that all by himself.

As a Badger fan who thought Brewster was a goof (gave off a car salesman vibe from the moment he was hired), I full supported the 2-point decision, save for the lame excuse Bret put out there. I wish he would have just admitted he was going after Brewster and gone with the old Woody Hayes line (because I couldn't go for three).

This isn't peewee football. I don't like getting blown out, but if we have a problem with the score being run up then our defense should stop the offense. I feel like a real competitors response to Bielema going for two would be to say "great, 2 is easier to stop than 1".

Being honest about it would have been the manly thing to do, but it was still a dick-move.

Comparing Bielema to Woody Hayes in any universe is just wrong. Hayes may have been bat-crap crazy at a level, but Bielema couldn't outcoach Woody's corpse.

Yeah, Bielema didn't like Brewster. He forgot that in a pissing match, everybody gets stink on them.

What the hell are you talking about?
I ran his statement through the Wisconsin translator. It loosely breaks down to, "Me team good. You team bad. Me sister kiss much betterer than your sister. Me go now. Me see unsuspecting horse in field."

I'm assuming he/she/it was referring to the fact that wisky has won the last seven meetings. Only problem is bert hasn't been the coach for that long.

8-0. That will be his record after Saturday.

8-0 huh, Jdogg? Is it really that hard to understand that BB hasn't been the head coach there that long? I'm just glad you won't make it to Minneapolis on Saturday because I'm sure you'll find a dead deer along side I-94 and have your way with it for a couple days.

Exactly. If you're going twist the knife, own up to it. It's a rivalry game. I'd still think he's an a** but I'd give him credit for being honest. And if Kill ever did the same and a Badger fan called him an a** for it I would simply reply with the phrase I hear ALL the time here in Madison...He may be an a**hole, but he's OUR a**hole.

I think you'll find with most rational Gopher fans that this was the issue. Go for 2, who cares. At least have the stones to say why. Bielema is a juvenile delinquent. It's amazing how many Badger fans actually feel the same way. Many can't stand the guy themselves and there are many that don't think he's a good representative of their University.

Wisky will win this weekend and likely win comfortably, because the Badgers have shown two things under BB's tenure:

1) They are very good at handling lesser teams and teams with inferior talent and experience
2) They are not very good at actually beating quality teams, particularly when it's not in Madison.

They are the bully on the block, and there's nothing wrong with that. It's hard to beat quality teams with regularity and it's even harder to win those games on the road. There's no shame for Wisconsin to be one of those teams that isn't quite there.

To be fair, this was also regularly said about Barry, but usually he was called a dick, not an a**hole. The difference is Barry was competent and arrogant, while Bielema is competent and kind of a meathead.

It's a jerk move.
If Brewster had decked him at midfield, they should have given him a lifetime contract on the spot and built a statue of the moment outside the stadium.

I hate Wisconsin for all kinds of other reasons, but I refuse to every be angrier at another school for running up the score than I am at us for getting into a position where someone else can run up the score.

This is the correct answer right here. If I'm ever whining about the opponent running up the score, that's a good indication that it's time for me to no longer watch.

I remember sitting in the stands with my dad who is a Badger fan and he looked at me and said "I don't get that". It was a total slap in the face. This guy (Bert Bulimia) hates the Gophers and really hated Brewster. I don't see Kill letting us do that back if we were fortunate enough to be in that position, but if he did you would see the biggest smile on my face in a while.

Belima had zero respect for Brewster and his program. Rightfully so. Belima would not do the same to kill.

Why? What did Brewster do to him? Bret was just threatened by his recruiting, even though it didn't translate into wins against them. He is just a dick.
