This game was very, very winnable going in to it. But inconsistancies led to a very incomplete effort. That almost always leads to a bad result.
There were too many small details left unattended to on too many plays.
This led to the inability of any one unit - Defense, offense or special teams to build on any momentum that the previous unit may have generated. Get a blocked punt TD, kick the ball untouched out of bounds, and give it to Ill on our 45.
Almost as bad it seemed like no single unit played well enough to cover for a hiccup in one of the other aspects of the game.
The first half, things never really shook out. The second half was much better.
This team owes me nothing. But each position, each unit and each individual deserve to have the rest of the team in much better synch. than what any of those division delivered - with the exception some specific individual performances. They should be expecting that each coach demand that from every player in every position, on every unit, on every play. Etc.
