I need a little help. It will be my first time to TCF- taking my son and a couple of buddies. I'm coming in on 394 and I need some advice on route to take to some parking. Thanks in advance!

I know of some surface lots east of the stadium. You will see people wavying flags to lure you in. I used to see spaces starting from $10 to $15 for the non-conference games. The closer to the stadium the more expensive(stating the obvious). I don't know if that will work for you coming in from the west.

Not sure if It would be any cheaper, but you could consider taking the light rail. Last week it was free starting two hours before and up to two hours after the game if you had a game ticket. It drops you off right across from gate D. I love it because that is my gate. I ditch my car along University avenue and catch the Greenline. I come from the east metro, so I don't know of any real good spots to ditch your car along the way coming from 394 (Target field area?). Maybe some one else could help there. Below is the trip planner link.

I usually park at East River Flats, $10 to park but it's easy in and easy out usually. Good spot to tailgate and hang out for a couple of hours before the game. The only drawback is it's about a 1/2 mile walk from there to the stadium so consider that your kid would have to walk that which would be a challenge unless they are about age 10?

394 to East Bank exit, across the river and then take the first right, stay right until the next street, a left and then you will see guys with flags waving people in on the right hand side. We usually walk to the parking ramp, take the elevator up a couple of levels and you end up right behind Coffman Union.

You could also park downtown (or near downtown for free) and walk to the light rail and take that over.

Plenty of parking near the stadium for reasonable fare for these NC games.
