Nebraska's Pierson-El to miss 6-8 weeks

Suffered a foot injury in practice yesterday. That's a pretty sizeable loss for Nebraska, he is something special and considered to be a big-play guy for them this year. Minnesota plays them just over 8 weeks from today.

It is really a shame. I hate to see players get hurt before the season even starts.

agreed, it would be best if NO player got hurt. But, am I the only one that read the headline and immediately thought this injury would be more severe if the Gophers played Nebraska in week 11, or less severe if the Gophers played Nebraska in week 4?
