Nebraska looks completely out of control. I expect they'll win, but as of right now they look flumoxed and poorly coached.

I completely agree. Washington is not a very good team but they are giving it to the Huskers right now. I'm starting to think the Big 12 really is awful, and that's why teams like Nebraska are worse now than they were before the conference season.

Washington's blitzing aggressive style is really giving the Nebraska offense fits. I am a little nervous watching the Husker d-backs though. Those guys are nasty, and Washington's WRs are struggling just to get off the line of scrimmage and into their routes.

Nebraska is in for a big surprise next year in the Big Ten. Penn State was a perennial national power and thought they were going to walk over the Big Ten, but they have been just a top 5 team in the conference. Nebraska will be the same, a good but not a dominated Big Ten team.

This game was an embarrassment. They start 9-1, including impressive wins over Okie St, Washington, K-State and Mizzou...to a 1-3 finish capped by a pathetic performance tonight.

Yeah, it wasn't good. I figured the Huskers would crush them a la the September performance. I'm unsure whether everything just came together for Wash tonight or if Nebraska just mailed it in. Nebraska's ineptitude on offense makes one wonder whether the B12 defenses (sans Nebraska, they were more or less solid tonight - agree with the poster above: their CBs are fantastic) really are that bad.

Regardless, welcome to the B1G Ten.

The Huskers aren't all that...
I wonder what the line will be when the Gophers play them?
It might be an eye-opening upset for Kill & the team, & the start of a new rivalry.

Bowls can be a crapshoot as some teams have no interest in being there after a disappointing end to a season. Nebraska had BCS dreams, not playing a 6-6 rematch against Washington. That being said, they are not the favorite in the Big Ten by any means. MSU has to be favorite in a wide open division next year.

Nebraska needs to regroup, and Pellini needs to get hmself under control. He is a great DC, but he has some things to learn about composure as an HC. That said, I think they will be very good next year, but I wouldn't bet a lot on anyone in our division at this point.

I'll have to admit that I was hoping Shawn Watson would have gotten some consideration for our head coaching job, but after watching Nebraska's offense last night, I'm glad he didn't.

It appears that if you can make Martinez pass the ball, Nebraska can be solved fairly readily.

Pelini's a great defensive coordinator and he's won some big games already as a head coach, but he's going to have to learn to be a bit more patient.

I might have to back off my "clear favorite" assessment of MSU at this point.
