North Dakota State is cutting off outlets from covering Bison athletics unless they’ve paid a media rights ransom, according to local Fargo newspaper The Forum.

But so is the volume of gopher fans who are preoccupied with NDSU.

Bison fans here hate this and arent happy. This effects alot of the good unbiased media and forces them to watch the crap KVLY shows.

But I thought it urgent to write you about those new media rules, which restrict the way some outlets can report from your games. There are those who say the rules put unnecessary restrictions on outlets that don't own the broadcast rights. There are those who say limiting what reporters can write on Twitter during your games is tyrannical. There are those who argue the ones hurt most by the restrictions will be your fans, who will have less information available to them.

I really can't believe we have gone this long in this thread without a ndsu bobo spouting off. Those 7 people must be busy at Mt. Rushmore or something.

I like McFeely. I read the Forum often and he always seems to make a good argument while stepping on toes IMO.
 

I just heard they're closing Bisonville because their legal team determined it violates this new policy. They're all on they're way over here right now...

It's the radio, they're gonna be outraged about something all the time. It could be because it was a sunny day as much as NDSU.
 

At the end of every Viking's game you'll hear the announcers say, ""Any other use of this telecast or any pictures, descriptions, or accounts of the game without the NFL's consent is prohibited." That's just one reason you should never talk about the Vikings and instead just focus on the Gophers.
