NCAA lifts eligibility ban in allowing Canadian Hockey League players to compete at U.S. colleges

Use to be kids going from high school directly into college. Michigan schools for high school kids from Minnesota. Then the USHL league opened up, and now you've got young adults coming in as freshman. In my opinion off hand without listening to others. Not good.

This is going to push more talent out to more schools. More parity will probably result. Big NIL schools will still collect the highest end talent but the mid and lower schools will then see some kids drop to them. It will be interesting to see though. A lot of kids in those junior leagues have no intention of going to college. Some don’t have the grades.
