The NCAA is necessary for the what 1000+ (maybe more, not sure on the exact count) schools that are not in P5/P6(bball).
I absolutely hope they do not go under, for those schools.
If you want to root for the P5/P6 (perhaps with some others) to form their own association, go for it.

Agree. They do need some reorganization of sort. As I'm not an insider at all I have no suggestions where to begin. Everything does start at the top however and that person should be able to recognize some inconsistency, screw ups etc.
