The Gophers enter this one at 3-0 in both simulation and real life and the scores have actually been fairly close for the most part with the predictions being 32-13, 39-9, and 25-24.

Here's how the teams stack up this week

Minn

Overall C+
Offense C
Defense C+

Syracuse

Overall C+
Offense B-
Defense C

Again very evenly matched teams.

Here's how it played out.

SU @ MN
13-24- The Gophers ground game wore down Cuse as they rushed for 209 yards behind 126 from Gillum with 2 Rush TD's. The Cuse offense stalled as Nassib went down (after starting 6-15) and the offense never got going.
14-24 Cuse led 14-0 at half but the Gophers stormed back due to 4 interceptions and 2 fumble recoveries. Offense looked poor but capitalized on TO's.
23-27 The Gophs pounded the rock all game and hung on to win at the end as 2 early 4th Q FGs by Wettstein proved to be the difference. The D again was stout tallying 2 Ints.
24-31 The Gophers did it all on the ground as they rushed for 209 yards and 3 scores from Kirkwood. The Gophs had to hang on however, as Cuse missed 2 FGs inside the redzone and were stopped on downs as time ran out.
21-0 Gophers looked stagnant as 3 TOs doomed them as the defense was given short fields. Looked really bad overall.

Results:

The Gophers took 4/5 hard fought contests to win and move on to 4-0 by a score of 21.2-19.

Let's go Gophers!!

Nice!! As has been the case each of the first three weeks, I bet one of these turns out to be pretty close to reality. Let's just hope it is one of the first four.

Did you sim sans Gray, or did you leave him in?

That last one would be brutal. But 4/5 ain't bad lol

Think they'll accept a best of 5 series to be played through the night into Sunday evening?
