NBA Executive on if theres a place for Murphy in the NBA: "For sure there is"
Mods, you can decide to move this if you want. Thought the headline was deserving of it's own thread.

If this were a Player of the Year story, you could make a case for Minnesota’s Jordan Murphy at No. 1 or No. 2 in the country. Murphy, a junior, has been as productive on both ends of the court as any player in the country, pumping in 21.4 points and 12.5 points a game.
The biggest question is how he fits into the NBA. The league has certainly gotten smaller the past couple of years and it’s one of the reasons I see a fit. I asked one NBA executive if there was a place for him in the league and he said, “for sure there is.” Murphy stands 6-foot-7 and is a tough, physical and aggressive forward that is playing with endless energy. Murphy has recorded a double-double in all eight of Minnesota’s game and he’s raised his averages significantly in every statistical category since last year.
Long term, adding a jump shot would be key for him, another NBA executive said. He’s taken just eight threes on the season (making two) and is 2-for-2 on mid-range jump shots. It’s too early to know if it’ll be this year or next, but based on how he’s currently playing, there’s a place for him in the NBA.
Murphy was a three-star recruit and the No. 167 overall player in the class of 2015 per the 247Sports Composite.
