Not sure if you are referring to being correct about the OSU game or not but Evan Turner did play against Minnesota (and very well) so Katz was incorrect in what he stated in the article.
 

Andy Katzenjammer blows it !

Just another media doorknob.

Here is his insight into our 73-62 victory over Ohio St:

The Gophers have been reeling in the Big Ten, losing three of the past four games, with the one win coming against an Evan Turner-less Ohio State.

According to the box score, which seemingly, Andy did not have access to, Turner was on the floor for 38 of the 40 minutes. He was 9 of 16 from the floor with 8 rebounds. Not a bad line for a guy who didn't play, per Andy.

Typical for this season. We win a meaningful game and the media discounts it based on misinformation!

Andy Katz usually writes pretty good and accurate stuff, but he really screwed the pooch on that misinformation.
 

Yeah, that was laughably bad by Katz. But what do you expect? The ESPN guys are too busy slobbering over the SEC and Big East to probably even notice.
 

Wow that's actually really frustrating. I like that he's one of the few ppl on ESPN who will ever talk about us, but I'm pretty bothered that he got that wrong.
 

It's sad. Ohio State was our so-called "signature win" and Katz cannot give us full credit for that. AHHHHH....what a year.
