Myron puts first year HC Jeff Bzdelik #3 on his hot seat list

That's just silly.

Even if he didn't happen to be an universally-respected basketball mind (a la Carmody), that sort of thing seals the fate of ADs. An AD will do all they can to get, at least, 3 or 4 years out of a coach. If they don't, it's more of a reflection on their desk than anywhere else.

There are probably 300 "hotter" seats in America.

And of course 3 of the 4 comments call for Tubby's head. You have to love the ignorance of the Strib comment section.

Wake Forest is a tough job. Lots of local talent in the region, but must feel at times they are getting UNC and Duke rejects and expectations are high. Georgetown, Maryland, Kentucky, Georgia Tech being the region must make things interesting too. I don't know if the influx of talent in the area leaves enough for everyone, or if some are bound to be left out.

Fairly ridiculous. A first-year coach is never going to get fired for not winning enough.

They could get fired for other things (cheating, an incident that brings bad press to a school) but not for losing.

MyMoron is sooo consistently true to form = an illogical idiot.

Bzdelik runs a match-up zone that takes some time to learn. Most of the time it takes a little over 12 months to get it down. If I remember right they run it with pack line rules. No baseline, 3/4 top side front on the post.... All of this goes against what most coaches teach, it takes time to build these habits.
