Art, did anyone on the GopherHole accuse Myron Medcalf of being too smart???
 

Arizona is #10 in both polls. I have to go with Myron on this. How is that vote out of line? Oh wow, 2 whole spots ahead of the poll!

Edit: His real beef is that he has Pitt #9, not Arizona. On the second point I agree. Come one Myron. What did Jamie Dixon ever do to you?
 

Awful. His top two are just embarrassing, Purdue is too high, and Pitt at 9 is easily the worst decision he made. Arizona has the resume of a 5-seed, not a 2-seed. Well deserved.
 

Polls have nothing to do with tourney resumes. He is supposed to rank the top 25 teams in the nation. Even if Pitt has a much better resume, if he thinks that Arizona would beat them head to head on a neutral floor, he should have Zona ranked ahead of them.


I am not saying Myron is a genius, I am saying the guy who wrote the article doesn't understand that the criteria for the top 25 is not the same as the criteria for seeding and at large bids in the NCAA tourney.
