I was wrong.

Wow, I admitted it...and you know what? It feels really good. Yes, I was one of those "fans" who said we wouldn't win a Big Ten game this year after the Michigan loss. I hated what Limegrover was doing on offense and not impressed with what Claeys was doing on defense and, to be honest, thought Kill and his entire staff were in over their heads in the Big Ten.

Again...wrong, wrong, and wrong.

I can't tell you how impressed I have been with our squad the past 4 weeks. The offense has been effective and, at times, dynamic. The defense has bent, but has not broken. The staff has been in complete control, shown great in-game adjustments, and has handled both Coach Kill's situation AND the recent run of success with humility and aplomb. My hat goes off to all of them.

Anyway, I haven't commented here in awhile because I'm very aware of how the change of heart MIGHT come across as a bit hypocritical, bandwagon, and well, I'm sure there are a lot of other words to describe it...but whatever. I want back in.

So, if y'all will have me back...

Go Gophers!

Being wrong ain't no crime. No need to apologize...we are fans. We are usually wrong.

If the staff can do soul searching and make a change, I think it is fine for fans to do the same.

I was wrong.

Don't sweat it. I thought maybe 2 or maybe 3 B1G wins and a potential loss to SJSU. I am extremely happy to have been wrong.

I thought the same. Never typed it. But I thought it.

A months go they were pretty bad.

That was a fact, not just perception.

I'm pretty optimistic, and I didn't really expect 8 wins either. There aren't many of us for whom this season is merely what we expected.

Been disappointed so many times when they won less games than we thought they would, no reason to be upset when they win more games than expected. Don't apologize, just keep enjoying!

After the dreadful performances against Iowa and Michigan, who could blame anyone for thinking we'd be lucky to win another game this season? I also put little stock in those who claim to have known all along that this turnaround was coming. Hope is one thing. Knowing is another. I thought we'd pick up a win or two, but nothing remotely like this. It still doesn't quite seem real.
