Seeding might change on Duke and Michigan today if Michigan loses and Duke wins.

It's a bit of a homer-istic view, but I refused to put SMU in and by the same principles I have BYU out.

Minnesota plays Dayton at Dayton in the first four.
Iowa gets punished and plays Mizzou in first four as well.

Thanks for posting. Was hoping to see our differences. So it's the Gophers/Missouri (you) vs. BYU/NC State (me)? Good luck. ... I hope you get one on me with the Gophers!

Missouri was my first team out, then the Gophers. More than anything, I do not want to see SMU get rewarded after playing such a crap nonconference schedule. My TV won't be safe if SMU's name comes up on the screen.

I'm banking on a couple things.

1. RPI for major conference teams still matter.
2. SMU and BYU aren't in "major conferences".

I can't stand the fact SMU is in so I'm holding to my convictions.... more of a what I would do based on what past committees have done.

This year is a lot tougher than last year.

Wisconsin two seeds higher than michigan state? Seems too much to me.

I'm also glad you put your prediction up. Who are your first 4 out?

How can there be 5 #13 seeds if none are playing in Dayton?

I think SMU and Mizzou will be switched around, I also don't think NC State gets in.

There are also only 3 14 seeds. I'm guessing it's a typo and one of those 13's is a 14.

I guess I was more tired than I thought.

Wrong. 5 X 13 = 65. There are 68 teams. Room allows for it. :banghead:

Don, there are four of every seed except those in the 1st Four. He has 4 #12 seeds playing in the 1st Four, therefore, there should be six #12-seeds, six #16 seeds, and four of everything else.

I did submit an updated to Bracket Matrix.
I moved Michigan St to a #4 seed (as was suggested in this thread).
Also #1 is Michigan, or Virginia if the Wolverines lose today.

I believe my final score on bracketmatrix will be 322
