The student section chanting "Who hates Iowa?" while Tucker was up for late game free throws.

It was followed by, "Who likes drinking? He Likes Drinking!" and preceded by chants of (a previous FT attempt) "One more beer, one more beer"

There was also a Winona State fan who was screaming at us in the student section about the football team only have one win, etc. and he received chants of "a**hole" and "midlife crisis" It was also quite comical seeing how embarressed his wife was trying to hide her face.

Finally, a different student summoned Goldy who went to him, took the hat off of the Gopher fan next to him, and put it on his head. Great moment.

In all seriousness though, Tucker played a great game. If he could have kept his off court issues in check, he would have been a nice addition for Iowa.

Thanks sher - I wasn't able to catch all of the chants. Nicely played by our students - and Goldy!

I was one of the students summoning goldy over to that jerkoff fan... my buddy was the one that started to tell goldy haha... this was by far the funniest game I've been to here at the U...

The guy was making a fool out of himself and his wife was clearly embarrased.

I don't know if anyone heard any of the other chants after some taunts from WSU fans...

To the tune of "If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands"

If you wanna drive a bus, go to state.
If you wanna drive a bus, go to state.
If you wanna drive a bus, and you wanna work for us...
If you wanna drive a bus, go to state.

If you wanna drive a plow, go to state.
If you wanna drive a plow, go to state.
If you wanna drive a plow, and you've got a uni-brow...
If you wanna drive a plow, go to state.

If you wanna pump our gas, go to state.
If you wanna pump our gas, go to state.
If you wanna pump our gas, and you take it in the.........
If you wanna pump our gas, go to state.

Just though I'd share a view from the front of the student section. Go Gophers!

I gotta say, I despise the "We Hate Iowa" chant. Iowa is a nothing state. Why it deserves our attention, much less scorn, is beyond me. It's like chanting "who hates Albania? We hate Albania." And frankly, it does nothing but give the party that is the target of the chant a bit of thrill. For example, I went to Carleton, and our arch-rival is St. Olaf (we're actually competitive in almost nothing, as they dominate in sports, and attractive people, and we dominate in academics and drunks), but one of the major feathers in our cap was that we're mentioned in Olaf's fight song, which was awesome, because it showed a major inferiority complex. Or at least, that's what I tell my sisters who are at Olaf. The Iowa chant is kind of like that, in my opinion.

While true, its still a tradition, so I'm fine with it. Also, when we were chanting it at the WSU game, it was "Who hates Iowa? He hates Iowa" aimed at Tucker...

When Tucker was walking down the stairs at the end of the first half... he gave us the dirtiest look possible for making fun of his... um ... 2 arrests and 3 drunken related charges hahahahahaha
what a turd.

St. Olaf doesn't really dominate us in sports (anymore). Just sayin

Yeah, good point. We didn't win a football game while I was there until the third to last game of my junior year, but they've improved a lot, and they actually were pretty good at basketball last year. I loved watching a couple Carls play well at Pulley.
