-For the 6th straight game the gophers outplayed their opponent on special teams. And today it played a big factor in the outcome of the game.
-I was not impressed at all with Purdue today. They looked small, slow and to a lesser degree unathletic. That said it's nice to see the gophers beat a team they should beat.
-Kevin Whaley is the gopher's best running back
-Gopher's 3rd down defense isn't getting any better
-open field tackling for the gophers was very poor today
-It was fun to see the wind and weather play a factor at home. Just made the game more interesting.
-Each week i'm amazed at how poor most big ten officials are. The quality of the officials is not on par with the quality of the players and coaches. Not saying they're biased one way or another, just plain bad.
-The most important statistic in football lived up to it's name today: turnovers.
