Must read for college football fans: Agendas and media laziness

Article is spot on. The so-called "Best Division in College Football", SEC West, was 2 - 5 in bowl games. Arkansas beat a pathetic Texas team and Texas A&M narrowly beat a West Virginia team that was missing its starting QB. What does it all mean? Not much, except that the SEC, and more specifically, the SEC West is overrated though its teams are good to exceptional.
Do you remember about 5 games into the season when Miss St, Ole Miss, and Bama were in the projected Top 4 playoff teams? Paul Finebaum said it only made sense.
The media tend to exaggerate the differences between conferences. It may also show that evaluating conferences based on bowl records may not be very accurate at all, yet that is how the media has beat on the B1G. What will they say now that the SEC West failed miserably? Probably not much.
