It does. They also lose their Serbian center (he's out of eligibility) and a couple of other players. McCaffrey could have a bad year but he also could surprise again. I've learned never to count him out.

Two more and we escape Weakling Wednesday!
If we finish behind Penn State with a 1st year coach and a gutted roster, that would not be good. That’s the only team I’d feel (somewhat) confident Gophers will finish ahead of next season.
Would be nice if it was because we were getting better and not other teams dropping like it appears. We’re due for a good surprise soon, though. So there is that. We could also get caught playing Penn, Iowa, and Nebraska only once.
