As of 1/27, the Gophers strength of schedule is ranked # 126, based on the NET, and #159, based on the RPI. But on an RPI basis, the Gophers are predicted to finish the regular season with a strength of schedule ranked # 81. Opportunity Row will really increase the Gophers' strength of schedule. To be consistent, and because I'm one of the fans who wishes the non-con schedule had been less cupcakey, I'm going to think of this stretch of the schedule as Opportunity Row.
Nope. She has been doing some strength training but isn’t cleared yet to run.Chances go up “if” we see Mara back. I don’t know why but I feel like she will surprise us for the Iowa game.
Wonder if she is even practicing at full strength yet.
Agree, but Teri Moren knows how to coach. Unclear if Jan Jensen can be a good head coach. She has struggled this year with lineups and substitutions.I'm very optimistic about Iowa and Indiana. Both teams seem to be struggling a bit since they each lost the best player their programs had ever had last year.
Thanks for sharing. I assumed she wasn't close since I haven't heard anything publiclyNope. She has been doing some strength training but isn’t cleared yet to run.
Today is 8 weeks post-surgery. She has been cleared for basketball activities (non-contact) for 2 weeks just an FYINope. She has been doing some strength training but isn’t cleared yet to run.
Glad she’s having a good recovery. Hoping continued good success in her healing journeyToday is 8 weeks post-surgery. She has been cleared for basketball activities (non-contact) for 2 weeks just an FYI
someone said she could still play some games this year and still count this year as a redshirt. If this is the case I would determine how many games more she could play and count games backwards from the end of the season and figure out what game that would be. Gets tricky with B1G tournament and potential NCAA, NIT.... but that is how I would determine the most likely game she would return to playing. Anyone have this number of games she can play more at the end of the season and still be eligible for a redshirt?Glad she’s having a good recovery. What I heard is if she comes back this year that they can use the number of games missed this year and last year and apply. It wouldn't be a given. Sounds like it would be a given to get the extra year if she didn't have the return. Not sure if any of this is valid or true so don't hold me to itsomeone said she could still play some games this year and still count this year as a redshirt. NCAA seems to be giving 5th years out like crazy almost like candy these days..What I heard is if she comes back this year that they can use the number of games missed this year and last year and apply. Pretty sure medical redshirts require it to be a season-ending injury. But, as others have noted, the NCAA seems to be about to grant all athletes five years.someone said she could still play some games this year and still count this year as a redshirt.
