After looking at the brackets, hoping that MSU pulls this one out, is there any other team that has had a tougher road to get there?

Getting through hot USC, extremely hot Kansas, #1 overall Louisville, and #1 seed UConn, facing probably #1 North Carolina in the Nat'l championship if they get there. Wow.

Arizona in '97 had a similarly rough route: They also played 3 #1 seeds. Trivia: Who were the #1 teams that they faced, and who was the only one they didn't?

Minnesota was the one they didn't, they beat Kentucky in the Finals, and I'm going to guess Kansas and Duke as the other two #1's they defeated.

Minnesota was the one they didn't, they beat Kentucky in the final, beat UNC in the semi's...can't remember who they beat to get to the FF though. (Kansas maybe??)

That Arizona team is the only team to beat 3 #1 seeds in the NCAA Tournament. Due to the way the tournament is run no team will ever be able to beat all 4. Also MSU has a chance to join Arizona in the group to have beat 3 #1 seeds in the tournament.

I've got all these brackets at my fingertips because of the pool I run. In case anyone is interested, Arizona beat:

#13 South Alabama
#12 College of Charleston
#1 Kansas
#10 Providence
#1 North Carolina
#1 Kentucky
