MSU draft departures

Along with TE Dion Sims, none of these come as a real surprise. Obviously, with as anemic as MSU's offense was this past season, Bell will be the hardest one to replace. If Nick Hill is Sparty's #1 RB for 2013, that's a major issue for Dantonio. He better have a stud redshirt/juco/freshman waiting in the wings, or things will be even more difficult for Maxwell or Cook, whoever wins the QB job.

The defense will still be plenty stout.

Bell had 382 carries this season. He stayed healthy this year but with another season of almost 400 carries, he may not be as lucky. It was a no-brainer for him to declare.

Curious to see where Gholston falls in the draft. One of the most talented defensive players in the country, but seems to make silly, undisciplined mistakes for no apparent reason.

Who goes higher, Bell or Ball?

Good question. I think they're both 3rd rounders right now.

Bell by 1-2 rounds.
