Mountain West and PAC Ten Better than Big Ten?

Charles Barkley on channel 4 just said that the big ten is over rated. Most of the guys on the show said that the Big East was better than the Big Ten and that the Big Ten is over rated. Then Barkley said that the Mountain West and PAC Ten were better conferences too. wow!

If the MW and Big Ten matched up from top to bottom, would the MW even win a game? What a stupid statement.
 

He also said our top teams are "Michigan...and...uh....Michigan".

Charles Barkley needs to join Shaquille O'Neill selling cars.
 


I just hate when they bring the NBA pundits into it for March Madness. Barkley is entertaining but not all that insightful. In fact, he contradicted himself in a way when he said that to win a championship you have to have a great player without mentioning that the Big Ten has those great players.
 

I'd like to see the B1G win the national title and prove them all wrong. If we have a bunch of early exits, then it is tough to argue we weren't overrated.
 



Charles is funny as he says these things with such confidence, then keeps blabbing on. You can almost see how he starts to catch himself when he starts going too far with outrageous statements, but then just keeps going no matter how deep of a hole he has dug.

Sounds just like when he is shooting craps in Vegas...starts off sure of himself and positive but in the end...walks away owing the casino $300K
 


Well we get a gopher ucla big ten PAC ten game. See what happens.

I was surprised to see (after checking) how UCLA owned Arizona this year. Beat them three times.
 



I was impressed with UCLA's interior strength and offensive rebounding the other night. Oregon beat them largely from the perimeter, which we will not be able to do. Gotta be strong and clean up the boards to win. No four-offensive-rebound possessions Friday!
