I wonder if there is a trainer/admin/helper type person that welcomed him and showed him to the room. He or she would ask this guy, "Do you need a microphone?". He's like, "uh, no... i think i'll be ok".
 

If a motivational speaker needs a mike, he is a Pinochio.
 


Due to past trauma, I can no longer watch any motivational speakers.

Unless he is Matt Foley:
