Colton doesn't get his *&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!# together. Also if Mbakwe leaves there's a good chance he starts next season. The first few games this Year Mo looked like what he is, a freshman. But he really had improved right before he got injured. I like his offensive potential alot. He has nice footwork for a guy his size. He's got a pretty decent shot as well. Hopefully he recovers nicely from his knee injury, and maybe loses some weight and gains some muscle in the offseason. He has the potential to be better than Sampson or Iverson.

Agreed. Love Mo's game and am most excited to see him and the yet-to-be-named PG play next year.

"If's" and "hopefully's" are pure unadulterated BS. I hate "if's", "what if's" and hopefully's" Let's deal with reality. What is, is. Accept it. What will be, will be. Not a one of us knows. I do understand the jabberwacky of a college student, because I once was one. Dreams are dreams, reach for them. But do not wish dreams on things you have no control over. I love beer.

Forget the if. Mo is going to see a lot of PT next year- even if Colton improves. Mo is going to be very good.

Iverson

Rodney has been panned quite a bit on this board, but Iverson has been the biggest disappointment of all the Gophers this year. Most of the time he looks like he does not give a damn out there. His numbers are atrocious across the board and his penchant for the unnecessary foul has not changed.

Rodney on the other hand gives consistent effort (if inconsistent results) and I think he will be an improved and mentally tough player next year. Its been a grueling year for him.

yah, i think if he comes in shape back from the injury he will. Seems like the game moves slow around him(kinda like WHEN ralph is playing really well if that helps people visualize what i mean)because of his frame defenders arent able to hasstle him very easily, he seems to be quite poised. He has good hands, decent shot, good passer, and his frame

I agree completely. He looked very good, even dominant at times down the stretch last year. I thought he had taken a big step forward and we would get a lot more of that this year but we haven't. I don't understand it.

Mo Walker is a good prospect at 4 or 5 spot but I'm not sure he'll be back 100% healthy next season. The year after, more likely. It's hard on a big player to bounce back from a knee injury.

I disagree with the bolded part. I think the exact opposite to the point where he wants to do well so badly that it hurts him. He crashes the offensive boards more than anyone else. He dives for loose balls. He gets pissed at obvious bad calls, etc..

He also has not improved at all from last year.

Rodney needs to be benched, but not for lack of effort.

This is true if he can come back healthy. Often knees of athletes need a year and a half to be back completely normal. And this guy is 300 pounds.

What the hell was this gibberish? You seriously add nothing to threads and just highjack them.

The difference is Iverson knows what he has to do. He just can't do it. Rodney has a shooting problem but, he has ability. He just doesn't know what to do in this system.
