Morgan to Bateman

Have not looked up numbers yet but I think it is pretty safe to say that if these two both stay healthy they have a great chance of going down as one of if not the greatest QB/WR combos in Gopher football history. And given their ages it might not be a massive stretch to say they have a shot to be one of the best duos in Big Ten history.

Bateman is just a special receiver, the likes of which we have not had around here. Don't get me wrong, we have had some good receivers (Decker, Johnson....) but Bateman is the complete package, size, speed, great hands....

Take a great receiver and pair him with a really smart, accurate QB which it appears Morgan is and the sky is the limit. Going to be a lot of fun to watch these two develop as they are just scratching the surface at this point.

A wealth of talent. Bateman leads the league in yards per game and it really isn’t close. If this keeps up he’ll blow 1000 yards out of the water by a wide margin.

Morgan to Bateman is a thing of beauty. It makes young kids cry when they see it. It makes old couples remember their youth and falling in love. And finally, it makes me remember my first beer.

Guess I was in a poetic mood this morning...
