I agree this is another black eye for Joel

As it involves both questionable judgment (we've heard that one before with JM) and a lack of ethics (which is a new arena).

One thing that I've seen in several reports but hasn't been discussed much: Joel has a contract extension sitting on his desk, but he hasn't signed it yet. Maturi has stated that he's waiting for a vote of confidence from the new prez. My guess is that won't be coming. Chances are Joel is allowed to exit in a face saving manner, and then Kaler (that's his name, right) gets to bring in his choice next year. Wouldn't surprise me if he brings in the same AD he had a Stony Brook. From what I've read those two guys are pretty tight.

Maybe the same idiots who ran savegopherfootball.com will get involved in that choice as well. Trestman for AD!!!
