Streveler did what he was asked to do and delivered. It wasn't pretty, but a needed win. Streveler did well for himself in his debut game. Leidner & Streveler complement each other's styles. One has a stronger arm, the other make better reads and is quicker. They both need to get their passing game going. Not perfect, but they are who we have.

Both QBs need to get healthy and play as good as they can to steal a couple of impossible victories. Connor Rhoda better be ready because they may need three QBs before the season is over. The way Leidner and Streveler run, they are getting killed out there.

Unless the QBs suddenly acquire good passing skills and the WRs start catching balls, this will be the story of the entire season. Expect more teams to attempt to stuff the run. The OL somehow needs to stay healthy in order for the offense to be successful.

The Gophers will play ugly and scrappy, but are not quitters. They will deliver a knockout punch or two unexpectedly. This is the 2014 version of a Jerry Kill team.

They just need three or four good passing completion bombs that can turn a game or two in their favor. I am not asking for much. The offense need to do their part in the TOP battle. Keep the defense from being worn out and tired.

The special teams must play solid, and the defense must remain so.

The B1G is down this season. There are two more teams in the B1G plus PSU being reinstated, I am afraid a 6-6 finish may not cut it as far as bowl eligibility is concerned.

A Michigan win if they can pull an upset is very pivotal. They get a much needed bye to heal up before winnable home games against Northwestern, Purdue, and away at Illinois followed by a bye before the hard part of their schedule. They need to secure three victories out of these first four B1G games (as have been alluded to in GH).

They have to pull a win out of the tough part of their schedule against Iowa, OSU, NE, and Wisky.

IMHO, the Gophers are in the range of 5-7 to 8-4 this season.

We will take a tough win or two any way we can.

Go Gophers! :cool03::cool03::cool03::cool03::cool03::cool03::cool03::cool03: We want eight wins baby!

Which week we get our 4th win in will say a lot about this team. With our offense as putrid as it is, Northwestern, Illinois and Purdue are moving towards toss-ups as opposed to should wins.

Our next four games are all against teams who finished with a worse Big 10 record then us last year, if we want to make some noise this season, it has to be now.
