Heh.. Never would have thought I'd see the day when Monte Kiffin coaching the Trojans' defense give our Golden Gophers any sort of credit. Even if it was tongue in cheek.

Thanks for posting that.

Not sure if it was genuine or that's just part of motivational fodder they're using to get their guys up for this week so it was top of mind for him, but I was shocked Monte Kiffin could rattle off 1960's National Championship and Murray Warmath.
 

I think this will be Adam's break out game. People will be talking about him after the game and not the USC's quarterback. I think today will show the world why Adam Weber is one of the best quarterbacks in the Big Ten. I could be wrong but I think Adam will have a stellar performance today.

I hope you're right, he really is due for a good game!
 


I look at this video and his track record and can't believe this guy did not get more than a 2 year stint as head coach. Monte could have been one of the great head coaches at either the college or NFL level.

If I had a dime every time somebody on this board said that about Weber I could have retired. Hell this was supposed to be MN break out season and look how it is turning out so far.

This is pretty much said before *EVERY* single Big Game by at least 1 poster...

Weber's biggest game will always be MSU 2009 at this rate...

I hope he proves me wrong...but sadly I doubt it...

Unbelievable the crap that Jeff Horton called today. Weber, once again, was primed for an All Pro level performance and Horton designs a game plan that does not meat up with Weber's skills. The kid flat out brought it again. He shows up every week, has for his entire career, to win football games and DOMINATE. Instead the put together a game plan that does not meet Adam's unique skill set. When will we finally get a coordinator who can understand him?

I am pumped for next year. No doubt Brewster finds a coordinator to put Adam in position to DOMINATE. Aweb for Prez!!!

I assume this is tongue in cheek. No one could be seriously that delusional about mediocre QB. Poor Adam...he just doesn't have the confidence he needs....poor, poor baby. Oh, wait...he is the oldest guy on the team.
