Minnesota rises as Big Ten falls
The Gophers have improved drastically during Jerry Kill’s tenure.

Kill said beating Michigan was “up there” as his best win as Gophers head coach, along with topping Iowa in 2011 and Nebraska and Penn State in 2013.

But if more Big Ten teams start sliding like Michigan has, more big victories could be coming for Minnesota.

“We are getting there; we still have a ways to go. I’m not stupid. This is certainly a good step,” Kill said.

Go Gophers!!

Now that the enjoyment of the win has started to settle in, I am looking ahead to the rest of the season. Obviously, that was a really fun win to get, and I am excited to have the Jug for the first time since I really started following the team when I came to college (last Jug was my senior year in high school). That said, I don't want this to be the highlight of the year. When we look back on 2014, I would rather think of it as that first year we really contended for a division title, the first year we had a winning B1G record in a long time, the first year we had all four trophies at once, or Coach Kill's first bowl win at Minnesota. This was a nice brick, but I don't want it to be the whole house this season.

From the article:

...Virginia Tech team blew out the Buckeyes at home

Good premise to the article, but don't make up S@#* to support your argument. The last thing that game was was a blowout. Not only was the game tied with under 10 mins left, OSU out-gained VT in the game.

My biggest pet peeve for "Journalists" is stretching the truth to validate an otherwise flawed opinion.
