I have purchased the bolt-on cushions since the stadium open and will never sit on bare aluminum. I think they are more comfortable than the plastic seat backs in the center sections and worth the extra money. Especially when it's cold.
 

I like them. I too have bought them every year. I put them on two of my four seats.
