per the Daily:

- Kill said it's important that the Gophers are playing four of their first five games at home in 2013. They'll likely be favored in all four of their nonconference games as well. The coach has been criticized for his teams' weak nonconference schedules, but he said Thursday that "I really haven't had anything to do with the schedule."

"Our schedule's based on making money," he said. "That's how it is in this day and age."

Go Gophers!!

He had nothing to do with dropping the UNC home/home? To this day that was a dumb move and very poorly executed and the money excuse doesn't add up. We paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to break a contact and one of the games replacing it was an away game against New Mexico St, a game that won't even be televised? But it's about money? I thought the excuse was for competitive reasons yet we pick up a home and home 1 year later with TCU (a better program than UNC). Now he says it's about money?

Not buying it.

really....we're going to start this conversation yet AGAIN?

It doesnt hurt TCU is paying the U a nice amount of money to play them. Old news time to move on its not a big deal really.

In the end, Minnesota is making more money. Yes. Slow down.

I'd rather play TCU, a school from a football state, than UNC, a school from a basketball state. Any day.

I would rather visit chapel hill over Fort Worth any day...but I'm not playing, just a spectator

The game will be televised. Someone will pick it up like CBS sports.
