Though it may not be an "upset" anymore.

Minnesota QB Mitch Leidner (vs. Iowa, noon ET, ESPN2)

In the past two seasons, Minnesota has scored 86 points against Iowa, the most in consecutive games since the 1936-37 seasons. Senior quarterback Mitch Leidner is a big reason. Leidner has completed 57 percent of his passes in his career, but 72 percent in two starts against Iowa. The senior is 1-1 vs. the Hawkeyes, rushing for 109 yards and completing 29 of 40 for 417 yards, five TDs and no interceptions.

Before the season, Leidner was asked about the Iowa rivalry. "It's a game we always look forward to winning, especially our fans with all the hatred they have for the state of Iowa," Leidner said. The feeling is surely mutual for the Hawkeyes.

Since Iowa announced on Sept. 6 a long-term contract extension for coach Kirk Ferentz, the Hawkeyes have slogged their way to a 2-2 record. Iowa blew out in-state rival Iowa State, then promptly lost to FCS member North Dakota State, squeaked by Rutgers 14-7 and lost at home to Northwestern. Minnesota is coming off last week's overtime loss at Penn State but will rebound and improve to 4-1 for the fourth time in five years.

And, of course, you can't forget that Saturday's winner between Minnesota and Iowa gets the Floyd of Rosedale, a solid bronze pig trophy that weighs 98.3 pounds.
