Blue and White Review, a Creighton web site that tracks the schedules of all Missouri Valley Conference schools, is reporting Missouri State may play at Minnesota this season. That's the first mention I've seen anywhere of Cuonzo Martin's squad being on the Gophers' schedule in 2010-11. Perhaps Missouri State is on the schedule in place of one of the schools for which we've seen no confirmed game date. ... Cornell, Eastern Kentucky or maybe even North Dakota State?
Missouri State won the CollegeInsider.com Tournament (CIT) last season, finishing the season with a 24-12 record and a final RPI of #90. I would certainly prefer Missouri State on the home schedule over any of the 3 above-mentioned teams. The Bears return their top 8 scorers and should be a factor in the MVC.
