Missing Bak and Christenson

On the surface the QB play has not been good for 3 games now, no question about it.

But I'm starting to wonder just how much they miss Bak and Christenson up front? Other than a nice first half against PSU with Tommy O making his first start under center, this offense has been downright abysmal since these two guys left the starting lineup.

Tough to lose 2/5 of the starting O-Line that late in the season and not notice a big drop off.

We were deeper this year than last...just not with game day ready back ups on offense. Our losses at the WR position the last couple years due to personal issues hurt our depth and Engel's injury was made larger because of this. At offensive line, we have had several career ending injuries leading up to this year and then losing two more just made the situation worse.

Kill has always said 3 full recruiting classes to get the depth a team needs to compete and since everything else the man has said has come true...I am going to believe that starting next year, we should not see these holes develop as often from injury.
