Big Ten Football Media Days rolls on in Indianapolis and a national college football television announcer with Minnesota ties was in attendance to promote the upcoming season. Brad Nessler grew up in St. Charles and is a graduate of Minnesota State-Mankato. He was once the radio voice of the Minnesota Vikings and credits listening to the Hall of Fame Golden Gopher broadcaster Ray Christianson as a big influence on his sportscasting career. Nessler has worked at ESPN and ABC and will now be doing the national Big Ten football television broadcast every Saturday at 2:30 P-M on CBS.
